Villa Baronessa was built at the turn of the 19th century as a family residence for the Austrian baron Von Call who was deeply in love with the picturesque town of Lovran. It was completely renovated several years ago, but its belle époque architecture with Venetian style elements remained preserved to remind the visitors of the times when the European aristocracy spent their days at the Kvarner Riviera.
It has a unique position: within walking distance of nearby restaurants, old town, the local fish market and supermarket; yet secluded and hidden away.

GROUND FLOOR
Villa's ground floor opens up directly to the garden. Open plan kitchen, dining room and a lounge area with a guest toilet, are located on the ground floor.
This cosy living/dining space invites you to enjoy delicious meals and a game of chess around the fireplace in chillier evenings. The view from the dining room stretches all the way to the sea.
The ground floor kitchen is also the villa's main kitchen and is fully equipped with a large oven, electrical and gas stove, fridge & freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, microwave and plenty of cooking utensils, high quality dishes, cutlery and glassware for every occasion.
A handmade wooden staircase links the ground floor area with the upper floors.
FIRST FLOOR
On the first floor you will find the master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, living and dining room; a small, but fully equipped kitchen and a balcony that overlooks the garden.
Perfect to have your morning coffee on your beautiful balcony while enjoying the raising sun above the shimmering sea and islands in the distance.
A hand-made wooden staircase leads to the ground floor and a marble staircase to the second, and final, floor.
SECOND FLOOR
Once you climb the marble staircase up the second floor, first you will find a small single bedroom equipped with light furniture and a desk, overlooking the garden.
When you continue down the hall, you will enter the floor's standalone apartment that consists of a large living room area with a handy kitchenette, main bedroom with a king size bed, connected to a single bedroom; and a bathroom which you enter from the living room.
GARDEN AND BEACH
Villa Baronessa is surrounded by a large Mediterranean garden, that creates a high sense of privacy and intimacy. The garden is planted with mature palm trees, agaves, roses, lavender and other Mediterranean plants.
Unwind in your zen oasis - a garden cottage with a summer kitchen and barbecue, where you can spend your time enjoying light meals and drinks, or relaxing in the hammock.
Equipped with darts, TV and sound system, you are invited to spend you whole day there.
A stone paved path leads from the garden, down the steps and through an iron gate directly onto the beach, where you also have an outdoor shower.
If you are not a fan of the sea, spend your day listening to summer tunes and enjoying the sun by the beautiful pool.
